Magik Symbols NOT Viking Symbols

Many of the symbols you see representing "Vikings" and the myths surrounding old Norse ways are not always accurate. As we have come to see symbols like the vegvisir, Valknut, and helm of awe have been tied to vikings, but the symbols appeared almost a century after the viking era occurred. This does not diminish the use of these symbols or the power they possess. When added to your home, apparel, or tattoos, please do your research before purchasing an item with these symbols or having them tattooed onto you personally. There is a ton of great information on these and other Norse / viking / pagan mythology and symbols.

If you are looking for more information please start with searching for the place where some of these symbols were originally found in the Huld Manuscript along with lots of other galdrastafir (sigils)
